5ive, Backstreet Boys, Jennifer Lopez, Aaron Carter, Christina Aguilera, Spice Girls

Do you remember who were your idols when you were thirteen? I always smile when I remember how much I loved 5ive, Backstreet Boys, Jennifer Lopez, Aaron Carter, Christina Aguilera, Spice Girls. And I always laugh when I see that, these days, the teens like Tokio Hotel and all these “emo” bands with strange haircuts and make-up. Probably my mum laughed too, when she saw what kind of idols I had.
I still remember my favorite song from Aaron Carter: Crazy, little, party girl :)) and how much I tried to learn the steps he made in this video. I still remember those ugly clothes and ugly make-up that I wore just to look as Christina. Oh, and I even made my hair blond.

This was me when I was a teenager. Have you been better than me? Have you been a disaster?

    hahaha! yes!
    I would always pretend I was the spice girls. I’d put on this crazy leopard dress I had and dance around with a fake guitar and be like SPICE UP YOUR LIFE OHH YEA! WANNA BE MY LOVER!!? hahaha. I was so amazing.
    Pokemon also influenced me greatly. I wanted to be a pokemon master for the longest time.

    Woo! Welcome to WordPress! It does get some getting used to, but you’ll love it. I’ve only been using it for about two months now and I’m wondering how I functioned without it :D.

    Har, I wasn’t much of a teen idol person! The music I mostly listened to back then was classical: Chopin, Mozart etc. And Pavarotti too! I still love them all. But then I slowly got into more rockish types, like Coldplay, but not much pop! Heh. Although I do love a good pop tune every now and then :D. But, nup, I don’t think I had any Brittany Spears type idols I adored XD.

    I didn’t idolize anyone. But I liked all those people. Me and my friends used to do the dances. And we all had a Spice Girl name. I was always Baby Spice :)

  4. Nina Says:

    I didnt really idolize anyone although I loved those artists you mentioned, including “Steps” and Hanson. hahaha. It’s funny isn’t it when u think about those stuff when u were younger? I love it. LOL. I get to make fun of myself.

    I think you’re the first person that said WP is easier than Cutenews… lol

  5. Risa Says:

    I liekd people but i didnt dress like them-just their music and we’d play “spice girls” if we didnt feel like power rangers or disney.
    1 thing i didnt like about wordpress was it wasnt as customizable as cutenews-which is why I’m back on cutenews but good luck with it :)

  6. Lisa Says:

    Wordpress is great :) I remember my biggest idol was Britney and before her it was the Spice Grils, the good old days :)

  7. Brittany Says:

    Wow, the wordpress looks AWESOME!!!

  8. Musme Says:

    I have to still understand how to make WP my main blogging thing. I have greymatter and I transfered all my entries, but can’t seem (or want) to understand WP. So, my very congratulations to you for transferring. I’m envious! I love BSB, I still listen to some of their songs. Very nice theme you chose; it’s very nice!

    I think your WP looks great! I’m thirteen, but I remember when Brittney was big, and Aaron Carter, but that was like Kindergarten and 1st grade. Then I didn’t really listen to much, except for what I heard on adds for CDs. Then I started listening to my brother’s Papa Roach, Linkin Park, and all that. Then for a long time it was AC/DC. Now I have a new genre called “I listen to whatever I like” :)

    Reading your post made me sit here and reminisce for about 10 minutes before commenting! I remember being in love with Nick from the Backstreet Boys. I had their posters covering almost every inch of my bedroom walls!

    @Dana, Sporty Spice was the best :)) . Pokemon didn’t influenced me. It was too childish for me.

    @Melinda, I already had a blog on wordpress.com, so it’s not that hard for me to use. Just the coding and stuff are hard.
    I’ve listened Mozart and Pavarotti too, but that didn’t affected me to not to listen Christina Aguilera too ;)
    @(Olivia), Sporty Spice here. Wanna make a band? :D (joking)

    @Nina, I forgot to mention Hanson too. And yes, it is funny.

    @Risa, Wordpress is customizable and much more easier to make pages, than cutenews. You just have to find out how :))

    @Lisa, yeah, the good old days *dreaming*

    @Brittany, thank you.

    @Musme, I still like BSB too and thanks for the compliments.

    @Kelly, I like the genre that you have :))

    @Kecia, I liked Nick’s little brother. Lol.
