ARE YOU LIVING IN A CINDERELLA STORY?

To find your “Big Love” is the most important thing from life? Is it?

I think it’s crap. I don’t believe in The One and I don’t think that without Him I can’t be fulfilled. The One is just in our imagination, created by the media/parents/soap-operas/Cinderella stories &co. If you believe that The One exists, you should prepare yourself for the worst. Because there will be a lot of drama in your life and you may live like a doll trying to have the best relationship. Living like a doll it’s just a mark that you are unhappy. And why? Because you always thought that He is The One and you thought that life and destiny will take care about your not-discussed-problems. But all these tryings to be some soul-twins will make you want to suicide. You wanted so much that perfect Cinderella story in your life and you made yourself so many illusions…

Maybe in 20 years you will realize that you never had a beautiful life with you husband and your kids, actually, you never loved him and you are not fulfilled at all. Everything was just an illusion created by your mind. Your kids are on drugs and you husband is drunk almost everyday and he has a little “romance” with the man/woman from the next door.

Some friends of mine said that friendship is the most important thing in a relationship. Is it? Because I can’t imagine myself with my male-best-friend being together, like a couple. Can you imagine that? I can’t imagine myself having a French-kiss with him, and can’t even think about more between us.

Without attraction, nothing can happen. And to maintain the relationship you must communicate “in the same language”. Because the attraction will go away, if you will not understand your boyfriend, or if he will not understand you.

And don’t forget that Cinderella never existed. She’s just the creation of the mind of some people.

    Well that’s a depressing thought, isn’t it!?

  2. Monica Says:

I would say realistic :) Depressing is to believe in something that can’t exist.
