Do you remember when I said that one of my reasons to have an English blog is that I want to learn the language better? I think I have started to have results, because reading a few older articles of mine, I’ve recognized my writing mistakes :) . I’m sure I still have mistakes, but at least I know that it’s working.

So, if you want to learn a language better:

  • make a blog and write at least once/week
  • affiliate with people that have blogs in that language
  • don’t forget to read their blogs
  • you should leave comments to their blogs

I should start a blog in German too.

That is my reason too :) Even though I think it can be difficult to express myself in English and even though I cringe at the thought of all my spelling mistakes it’s a really good way to learn the language.. and reach a larger group of people.. ;P

I agree. This is my reason to start a blog too. I laugh at myself reading my past entries with so many grammatical mistakes. LOL. then again, I’m just a blogger, not a writer.

  3. Monica Says:

Gotcha! I’ve been hoping to get a few comments from people that started a blog just for that. lol :)

I’m glad to hear that you’re getting better! I didn’t even know that you’re not fluent in English!

  7. Monica Says:

@SP, I’ve been fluent, but not using the language for more than 2 years can cause problems. It’s good that we have internet :D

I think that the internet helps me a lot with English. Especially vocabulary. So many words that I learn from different sites, blogs… :)
