Wasting Time
The Questions
How many of you told everyone about owning a site, or a blog? I mean, even to your colleagues with which you don’t get well? Even to your relatives?
Do You Remember?
A few months ago I talked about judging people by appearance. Now I’ll talk about judging people by blogs.
And all I hear is ay ya ya ya ya, You’re talking way too much
When I made some long breaks from blogging, the reason was that I somehow felt violated, I had no source of inspiration and other reasons which aren’t that important anymore. I had so much pressure in my head, because of the people who started talking with me about things I didn’t really said in my blogs, but “this is what they understood or they wanted to understand”.
The paranoia from their brains created so many stories from some simple words written in the blog, that they quite scared me and made me suspicious too.
The Paranoia And Wasting Time
Everyone has paranoia to some degree. Acknowledging it puts you in a better position to conquer it.
Paranoia victimizes the innocent by accusing them of being guilty of harmful actions that never occurred in the first place.

I don’t waste my time anymore with them. If they start talking things which aren’t even close of what I am and what I’m writing about , I just ignore them.
I don’t even feel bad because of ignoring these people. They will never grow emotionally, because they can’t control themselves. And yes, I think they deserve to be ignored, until they realize they are emotionally retarded and until they reconsider themselves.
Site Updates:
- A few color changes were made.
- New photo of mine in the sidebar.
- New blogs are added in my link exchange page and in the Blogroll too.
- I’ve made a Contact page and added my:
- Yahoo, MSN, and GTalk ID-s
- Social Networking Sites usernames
- Contact Form
- The Past Layouts are subpages here.
- I’ve added again the voting buttons for the site.
- There are some little buttons, after every post, to different Social Networking Sites. So if you like an article, and you are logged in, you can share it on every single site from there.
- New page talking about personal blogs.
- I took out the button rotations because most of them had so much errors at validation, that they didn’t worth to be solved. Because of them, dancingintherain.org looked quite creepy in some browsers.

I haven’t really had that problem as not really many of my offline mates read my blog. Everyone is pretty much aware I have one, a few people check it out, but we don’t really discuss anything written on it. I tend not to write to greatly about issues with anyone or things like that on my blog too much.
No one I know in real life knows about PSGR, except for my boyfriend and ex-boyfriend. (The latter is a daily visitor, lol.) I make a point to not talk all ‘lovey dovey’ about my partner in my blogs because I know my ex will read it and feel hurt.
I enjoyed reading this :] your so right just ignore those judgemental people :] .. thats what i do ehehe i don’t really care what people think anymore ..
neways tcxxo
Ahh I don’t have that problem anymore, thank god. When I first started blogging back in about 2002 I made the mistake of telling all of my close offline friends about it. We were 12. One of my friends’ mom became a regular reader… it became very awkward when she would bring up stuff from my blog when I went to her house.
I’ve read your blog since february and I was sad when you put something else hear.
Mostly I read it in spanish with the translator. You are so right about paranoia, but I would like to say that it can be a several retardation. I know you were not talking about the handicap, just wanted to add this.
besos(it means kisses in spanish)
I think you’re right. Nobody can really judge anyone by what they write in a blog, and many people try to get more meaning out of posts and things.
I try not to have people I actually know read my blog, it’s a bit annoying and they always ask me about my offline friends.
@Nat, I don’t write too much about issues with people neither.
@Rhiannon, I know what you mean. I try to talk about others too.
@Aiiya, I do ignore them.
@Julia, LOL, now that would be annoying. A parent to ask me questions about my blog.
@Turty, you never commented until now. I hope you will do that more.
@Panda, they want a little salt&pepper, because they are bored. This is why Britney Spears articles are selling well.
I don’t tell people I know about me having a blog, well my mother knows about me having a site but she doesn’t know the URL or what I write about. I don’t think you’re wrong ignoring people who start talking about random things that are way off topic to your post. When people respond to that on my post I ignore them too.
I’ve been pretty good at keeping my blog a secret from my offline friends and such.
There’s nothing wrong with ignoring people who post irrelevant comments/topics in response to what you’ve typed up.
@Monet, Don’t be so sure, that your mum doesn’t know about your site
@Lianna, I didn’t keep it secret anymore. Well, I never did. If they want to know me better, they should start and read this blog. haha!
