Beggars

Did you knew that in Romania it’s illegal to give money to beggars? Have you ever wondered why are in London or Rome so many beggars? Especially kids begging?  Because they are forced by gangs to do that!

I know there is a story in the Bible about a beggar. I know some of you will think that a good Christian should give money to a beggar, because this is what the Bible says.

Every time you give money to these people, you should live with the fact, that more kids life will be sacrificed to become beggars. You are helping the Mafia to become bigger. You are upholding these people to destroy some children lives. They are not as poor as you think. I always wondered from where the hell have these people money to build in Timisoara (if you are a regular reader, you know it is a city from Romania) villas. I guess I have the answer now. You should not work your ass off, to maintain these people villas. They should work the same as you do. They should go to school and learn. You have learned a lot to become the person that you are today.

When I’ve been in gymnasium I gave this beggar a hamburger. He rewarded me by throwing the hamburger in my face. He told me to give him money, not food. When he was begging, he was saying that he needs money for a bread, for his 10 kids, blah, blah…  These were only some huge lies! He was just helping to increase the mafia.

From where do I know for sure there is a mafia? Because I saw a few times beggars giving all the money they have been collected that day to their boss.

    It’s illegal to give money to beggars here too. And I think we also have those syndicate groups/mafia. There was an incident a few months ago where a little kid was kidnapped and was forced to beg for money. Good thing someone recognized the kid and rescued him.

    No, I didn’t know it was illegal to give beggars money there.

    But, I wouldn’t give a beggar money anyway.

    OMG. Me and my friends were just talking about this. I see so many homeless beggars downtown now-a-days. And I feel bad when I just walk past them and not give them anything. Until one day I gave this man like 3 dollars and he was on the same bus as me and got off at the same stop as me and walked into his house. Never again have I gave out money to any beggar

    Princess-Erins last blog post..uhm..i can explain.

  7. Veronica Says:

    As far as I know it’s not illegal to give beggars money in the US, but it’s rare that I do, only because I really don’t have that much money to spare. There have been times that I’ve come out of a fast food place with someone asking for money for food.

    Usually If I have some spare money I’ll go in and buy them something so I know that can’t use my money for booze or drugs.

    @Lexie: It’s sad when these kind of things happen. :(
    @Monica: Yeah, or they buy alcohol.
    @Olivia Kitty: I’ve been surprised too.
    @Brittany: It really is sad. By the way, did you moved your blog?
    @Kelly: That’s true only in third world countries, but not in countries where are all kind of organizations which help these kids.
    @Princess-Erin: I’m not surprised.
    @Veronica: very nice from you.
